James 1:17 – “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights.” God is the source of all goodness. When we do good, therefore, we imitate Him and reflect His light to all the world. Christians give freely because God has first given so freely to us; we are only imitating our Father, growing up into His likeness.

Become a Greeter
Having Greeters before each service would offer a warm welcome to members and especially guests at their arrival. Sign up on Sunday morning before your church service begins. Consider volunteering for a month in rotation-and be a friendly smile to members and visitors in this important ministry!

Fishers Student Ministry
JOIN US FOR COVE! COVE is a 90 minute ‘gathering’ for middle schoolers Sunday evenings from 5:00 until 6:30. We enjoy getting to know fellow middle schoolers, invite friends, enjoy some good food, play some organized games and have a brief devotion study time!

stephen’s Ministry
If you or someone you care about is experiencing difficulties, our Stephen Ministers are ready to listen, care, encourage, and be there to offer support. A Stephen Minister will meet with you privately by phone, video chat, or in person to focus on you and your needs. It is free, completely confidential and it offers real care, comfort, and hope. Participate in LCMS Servant Events
For more than 40 years, thousands of Lutheran youth and adults have participated in LCMS Servant Events, serving others in the name of Jesus Christ. LCMS Servant Events equip God’s people to grow in their faith through serving, sharing Christ’s love and developing relationships.
LCMS Servant Events:
Provide opportunities for Christian service to the church and the world;
Include time for personal Bible study, group building and connection with other Lutheran youth;
Give youth a chance to live out their faith by connecting acts of service to daily life; and
Take youth out of their comfort zones and work to love and serve their neighbor.

RightNow Media is a wonderful source for Christian material for kids, youth and adults. Fishers has a subscription and it is available to all members of our congregation. If you don't currently use RighNow Media, but would like to, please email Amy Benitez at amy@fishersofmen.org. You will be sent an invitation by email to access RightNow Media, so please include your name and the email address you would like the invitation to be sent to. In most cases you will be sent an invitation fairly quickly, but please allow 24 hours to receive the email.

If you have something you would like to have announced in the eNews or the video announcements, the deadline is Tuesday by noon to have your announcement included.
There is only ONE email address to remember! If you have something that you would like included in the announcements, please email announcements@fishersofmen.org.

Caring for Fisher Families
Even though we face this uncertain time with HOPE, we know this may be a difficult time financially for some of our Fishers Families. We want to LOVE and CARE for YOU!
If you are able, please prayerfully consider donating grocery gift cards to those in need. Cards can be dropped off at the church Monday-Thursday from 9AM-4PM.

The Ft. Bend Human Needs Ministry is also open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am -12pm for a prepackaged food box pick up.
Process for Event & Facility Use Request
There is a new process for requesting events to include on the church calendar. In order to prevent confusion on the church calendar, all requests will be processed through the link below and managed by one person.
If you have a church event, personal event or if you would like to request rooms for meetings, etc., please click HERE.
You can also access this form by logging in to your CCB account. On the home page, go to "Forms".
The "Event and Facility Use Request Form" is the first form listed. Click on the title to access the form.
This form is also available on our website under "How do I..." then scroll down to "...reserve a room or schedule an event?" Click HERE to access this page on our website.
