English as a Second Language
We offer free, weekly English Classes at Fishers of Men.
Join other ESL students in a supportive, friendly environment while learning English.
Classes are held most every Wednesday from 12:30 – 2:00 PM.
LINC Houston
LINC Houston is a network of local churches that have joined together in a common mission to impact the city of Houston with the love of Christ. They are a mission organization that sees the need for new and healthy faith communities across the city among our ethnic and urban neighborhoods and plant new churches that are self-governing, self-supporting, and self-propagating. Through their mission department, we train leaders to make disciples who seek the lost, disciple the saved, and multiply ministries throughout their communities.
Pablo International
POBLO International is a Christian organization working to transform the way missions is approached in the United States by responding to the changing demographics that have brought the mission field to our own front yard. They serve immigrants and refugees. They train and educate churches on how to engage in cross-cultural outreach. They share the Gospel message. They love people.
East Fort Bend Human Needs Ministry
The Food Pantry at EFBHNM has been extremely busy as school has started and families continue to suffer from food insecurity. The need is great and doesn’t show signs of slowing soon. There is a shopping list of the most critical needs in the Gathering area next to the sign on the donation bin, or you can check their website for more information.
The food pantry needs donations of empty (dozen) egg cartons. Donations may be placed at the base of the barrel in the Gathering area.
Blood Drives
One hour of your time changes everything for patients, families, and communities. It takes one hour to give blood. And one blood donation saves many lives. There are 168 hours a week. Taking one of those hours to donate blood can change someone’s world.
We regularly host Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center for blood donation drives.
