Stephen Ministry

If you or someone you care about is experiencing difficulties, our Stephen Ministers are ready to confidentially listen, care, encourage, and be there to offer support. We are all broken people and it is through the cross of Jesus that we are made whole. 

A Stephen Minister is a lay person from the congregation who is trained to provide confidential, Christian, one-on-one care for anyone who is going through a difficult time and in need of support from a Christian friend.

If you are interested in receiving confidential Christian care, email stephenministry@fishersofmen.org, or contact our Pastor(s).

If you have a friend or family member that you believe would benefit from this ministry, please take a card and share it with them.

Contact information is available on business cards that are placed on the Stephen Ministry table in the church’s Gathering Area. 

Stephen Ministers are available to minister to anyone age 18 and over.

They do NOT need to be a member of Fishers of Men.

Fishers Care Net Ministry

The “Fishers Care Net Ministry” team lovingly cares for the various needs of our brothers and sisters.

Matthew 25:40 Jesus says – “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for the one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”

This team continues to provide meals for those recovering from an illness or hospital stay. The official “Meal Train” program/app is used for easy sign up and organization of the meals.

We are the hands and feet of Jesus as this team lends and “Helping Hand” to our brothers and sisters in Christ.

Services provided include transportation to/from grocery stores/appointments, light home maintenance (changing air conditioning filter, water plants, etc.) phone tree calling in an emergency, and more.
